Jay Brittain is an accomplished photographer, videographer and graphic designer located

in Austin, Texas. His experience in visual arts spans 20-plus years, and his subjects are as varied

as the landscape itself. From gritty assembly lines where the dignity of a factory worker shines

through, to executives in corporate board rooms; from iconic real estate properties to the rich,

natural heritage of our country’s wild lands, Jay’s lens captures the essence, the mood, the emotion,

the story.

Jay grew up on a cattle ranch amid the lush landscape of eastern Texas, and early on interpreted the

beauty around him in sketches and paintings. He began his career as a graphic designer and added

photography to his skill set where he excelled in capturing images of the natural environment,

industrial settings, products and portraiture for corporate publications. He later expanded his talent

to marketing and human resources videography for the real estate and oil and gas industries. Today, Jay

is passionate about storytelling – uniting an idea with emotion - whether that be through still photography,

video, or graphic design.
